• Sigma Dry'n Shape System VS The Brush Guard

Good evening ladies!
I'm so sorry I was MIA but as many of you I'm too busy with Uni right now. So this is just a quick post to let you know that I got an e-mail from Sigma about a new product that is supposed to dry and shape your brushes in 4-6 hours! Here's a photo I found

This is the product's page, there is also a video showing how to use it. It costs $29 and holds up to 12 brushes as I can see.

On the other side we have The Brush Guard. Here's a photo I found

They come in different sets and every set costs $5.50. I know that many of you already own a Brush Guard set.

I don't own yet any of the 2 systems but I can see that the brush guards are more affordable. Do you think the Dry'n Shape will be better? Would you consider buying it? Or do you recommend the brush guards? Is the Dry 'n Shape going to be the next big thing in beauty blogosphere? I'd love to read your opinion!

  1. I own the brush guards and they're really nice! :) They help your brushes keep their shape and not go all fluffy and wild.

I don't know if I would get this, I'm propably gonna wait for some reviews first, as it's not cheap! ;) x

  2. I have the brush guards too and I'm very satisfied...I don't know about this case as I see the elastic wraps are very thick and I cannot imagine how the air passes so the brushes would dry. The brush guars is like a net the holes are bigger and still my powder brushes take 10 hours and longer to dry. I think this is a good case for brushes only just for keeping the shape and I agree its pricey. Plus how this case can be cleaned? The brush guards are cleaned easily with soap this case is made by synthetic leather of by fabric?

  3. Πάρα πολύ ενδιαφέρον!! Νομίζω με έβαλες σε πειρασμό!!!
    Καλό απόγευμα!!

  4. Thanks for your recommendations dolls!
@Demi: Good point about cleaning the case!

  5. The Dry’n Shape was designed to completely dry and shape your most dense brushes within 4 to 6 hours! It provides the necessary pressure to bristles to quickly and efficiently remove water from every fibre. The fabric used to shape the bristles was specially engineered to accelerate water evaporation, resulting in a faster drying time for your brushes.

I would definitely go with the Dry'n Shape. Its worth the $29.00!

  6. I have tried the dry'n shape and it works super well! It actually helps the brushes dry while holding the bristles in shape. I have a review of it up on my blog if you're interested.

Also, the dry'n shape from what I have read is washable too.

  7. @Katherine: Thanks for your helpful comment doll! I follow your blog so I'll read it for sure!
